We regularly assist nationals of the People’s Republic of China (P.R.C.) requiring notary public help with their legal affairs in China.

Chinese Notarisation Service

Many legal papers, that are required for submission in the People’s Republic of China – P.R.C., require notarisation by a United Kingdom Notary Public.

For example, Powers of Attorney, to buy or sell land and property or for divorce related matters as well as probate related matters, are amongst the most common forms of instruction for notary public services, we receive for the People’s Republic of China – P.R.C.

Sometimes a Power of Attorney is required to verify confirmation of proof of identity for a national of the People’s Republic of China – P.R.C – and the services of a notary public are required.

Chinese Legalisation Service 

The notarised papers stamped by the Notary Public in London may also then additionally require Apostille / Legalisation from the British Government’s ministry of Foreign Affairs e.g. the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office known as the FCDO.

China is a member of the Hague Convention which it joined on 07 November 2023. This means documents embossed with an Apostille Legalisation certificate, will be accepted for legal purposes in in People’s Republic of China – P.R.C.

We help with notary public and translation requests in fast timescales for both:

• Chinese Mandarin language to English Language
• English language to Chinese Mandarin language

We can supply notarised Translator’s Certificates in conjunction with our ATC Registered Translation Agency. This will enable the validity of the translation, notarised by a notary public to be recognised at the United Kingdom Home Office for Visa applications as well as other institutions of the EU and other organisations and professional bodies including London consulates and London businesses.
