Consular legalisation for Uganda

Notarisation of documents for Uganda

LEGALISATION AND APOSTILLE REQUIREMENTS

For documents being sent to Uganda, legalisation is usually not necessary if they have been signed or certified by a UK notary public. However, if legalisation is requested, the Consulate is able to process UK-issued documents. It’s best to check with the requesting party in Uganda to confirm their specific requirements.

TIME AND FEES

The fee for consular legalisation is £80 per document, and the process typically takes about 5 working days. Only UK documents are accepted, and payment must be made online.
