Consular legalisation for Singapore

Notarisation of documents for Singapore

LEGALISATION & APOSTILLE REQUIREMENTS

Documents for use in Sierra Leone usually do not need to be legalised if they are signed/authenticated by a UK notary public (s. 2 of the Sierra Leoneon Proof of Documents (Commonwealth and Foreign Countries) Act 1961 and, specifically for affidavits, Order 31, para. 12 of the High Court Rules 2007).

However, the consulate of Sierra Leone still provides legalisation if required. Prior to presenting the document to the consular section, it must be Apostilled by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

The Consulate requires a covering letter if the document does not mention Sierra Leone. Photocopy of the document is also required.

TIME AND FEES
Please allow around 3-5 working days for consular legalisation. The legalisation fee charge of the Consulate of Sierra Leone is £200 per document.
