Consular legalisation for Kuwait

Notarisation of documents for Kuwait

LEGALISATION & APOSTILLE REQUIREMENTS
Foreign and Commonwealth Office Legalisation required.
This is followed by Consular legalisation from the Consulate of the Kuwait in London.
For commercial documents such as agreements, Certificate of Origin and Invoices may also be required to be legalised by the London and the Arab-British Chambers of Commerce prior to submitting to the Kuwaiti Consulate for further consular legalisation.

TIME AND FEES
Please allow at least 1-2 working days for consular legalisation. The legalisation fee charge of the Consulate of Kuwait is £15 per document.

If legalisation by the London and Arab-British Chambers of Commerce is required, additional legalisation fee of £48.03 per document for standard service (turnaround time up to 2 weeks) or £87.03 per document for express service (turnaround time 3-4 working days) would apply.

For certain commercial documents the Kuwaiti consulate will charge a percentage of the sale price as a legalisation fee which may potentially make legalisation costly in given cases
