Consular legalisation for Greece

Notarisation of documents for Greece

LEGALISATION AND APOSTILLE REQUIREMENTS

Greece is a member of the 1961 Hague Convention, so a UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) Apostille is generally sufficient for documents intended for use in Greece. If a Greek translation is prepared in the UK by an official translator registered with the Greek Consulate in London, the translation must be attested by the Consulate. In this situation, the original English document must be Apostilled by the FCDO, and the Apostille itself also needs to be translated into Greek.

TIME AND FEES

Payment for consular services is accepted in cash only at the Greek Consulate. The Consulate is open from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
