Notarisation of documents for Gambia

LEGALISATION AND APOSTILLE REQUIREMENTS

To use documents in Gambia, they must first be legalised with an Apostille from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), followed by further attestation at the Gambian Consulate. When submitting, a photocopy of the document, a letter from the applicant requesting legalisation, and a copy of the applicant’s passport are required.

TIME AND FEES

The consular fee is £50 per document, with processing typically taking 2 to 3 weeks. Payment is accepted in cash only. Submissions are accepted from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
