Consular legalisation for Cuba

Notarisation of documents for Cuba

LEGALISATION AND APOSTILLE REQUIREMENTS

To be accepted in Cuba, documents must first be legalised with an Apostille from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and then submitted to the Cuban Consulate for further attestation. All documents need to be translated into Spanish, and the translation must be notarised, either in a dual-language format (English-Spanish) or in English with a separate Spanish translation. Both the original English document and the notarised Spanish translation must each have their own FCDO Apostille. If submitting multiple documents as a bundle, each must be individually translated, notarised, and Apostilled.

TIME AND FEES

The consular fee is £107 per document or Apostille, plus an additional admin fee of £24. Processing typically takes 3 to 6 working days. Payment is accepted in cash only. Documents can be submitted from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, Monday to Friday, at the Consulate
