Consular legalisation for Congo-Brazzaville

Notarisation of documents for Congo-Brazzaville

LEGALISATION AND APOSTILLE REQUIREMENTS

For documents to be recognised in the Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville), they must first be legalised with an Apostille from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), then submitted to the Congo Consulate for further attestation. The Consulate typically legalises company documents only. When submitting, a photocopy of the document is required. Multiple documents may be submitted as a bundle with a single FCDO Apostille.

TIME AND FEES

The consular fee is £100 per document, with processing usually taking 5 working days. Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer. Submissions are accepted from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
