LEGALISATION AND APOSTILLE REQUIREMENTS
For most cases, documents intended for use in Belize do not require legalisation if they have been certified by a UK notary public, as outlined in the Belizean Evidence Act. If additional consular attestation is needed—such as for documents originating from Belize that must be further legalised by another foreign embassy in the UK—the High Commission of Belize can provide attestation, provided the documents have already been authenticated by the Belize Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
