For documents to be used in Turkmenistan, they must first be legalised with an Apostille from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), then submitted to the Turkmenistan Consulate for further attestation. A photocopy of each document is required upon submission. Each document must be certified and legalised separately, and should be securely bound with a ribbon and sealed by the notary public.

TIME AND FEES

The consular fee ranges from £40–£45 per document for standard service and £85–£90 per document for express service, with the exact amount depending on the exchange rate and confirmed upon submission. Standard processing typically takes 10–12 working days, while express service takes 4–5 working days. Payment is by bank transfer only. The Consulate accepts submissions from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
