Consular legalisation for Turkey

Notarisation of documents for Turkey

LEGALISATION & APOSTILLE REQUIREMENTS
Foreign and Commonwealth Office Legalisation is required only.
(no further form of Consulate legalisation is required as Turkey is a party to the Hague Convention of 05 October 1961).

TIME AND FEES
Please see our legalisation section for a guide to Foreign Office Fees and Time Scales.

If a Turkish translation is prepared in the UK by an official translator registered with the Turkish Consulate in London, the translation must be attested by the Consulate. In this situation, the original English document must be Apostilled by the FCDO before it is translated, and the Apostille itself also needs to be translated into Turkish.
