LEGALISATION AND APOSTILLE REQUIREMENTS
Documents intended for use in Mozambique must first be notarised by a UK notary public and then legalised with an Apostille from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). After completing these steps, the documents should be submitted to the Mozambique High Commission in London for further attestation. Only documents originally issued in the UK are accepted; foreign documents are not accepted by the High Commission.
TIME AND FEES
The consular fee is £150 per document, applicable to both private and commercial documents. Only express service is available, with an estimated processing time of 5 to 7 working days. A photocopy of the document is required upon submission. Payment can be made by card, postal order, or company cheque payable to the Mozambique High Commission in London.
