Notarisation of documents for Ghana

LEGALISATION AND APOSTILLE REQUIREMENTS

For documents to be accepted in Ghana, they must first be legalised with an Apostille from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), and then submitted to the Ghana Consulate for further attestation. A photocopy of the document is required when submitting to the Consulate.

TIME AND FEES

The consular fee is £80 per document, plus a Postal Order fee of £12.50. Processing typically takes 4 to 5 working days. Payment must be made by Postal Order only, payable to the Ghana High Commission. Submissions are accepted from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, Tuesday to Thursday.
