LEGALISATION AND APOSTILLE REQUIREMENTS

For documents to be accepted in Algeria, they must first be legalised with an Apostille from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), and then further attested by the Algerian Consulate.

TIME AND FEES

The Algerian Consulate charges a fee of £60 per document, regardless of document type. Processing typically takes 8 to 10 working days. Payment must be made in cash, and a photocopy of the document is required at the time of submission. The Consulate accepts submissions from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and collections from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday.
