E-Notary and Electronic Apostille Services
We are set up to provide E-Notary services to our clients.
Thanks to modern technology, a notary public can now offer E-Notarisation, which is especially useful for clients who need an E-Apostille or Electronic Apostille.
What is E-Notarisation?
E-Notarisation allows a notary to create a secure digital version of a notarised paper document. This version is encrypted and carries a unique electronic signature that belongs only to the notary. The E-Notarised document can be created during the same meeting in which the client signs the paper document. Once completed, it can be emailed worldwide instantly.
How We Provide the Service
We use two secure methods of electronic signature:
-
Advanced Electronic Signature (AES)
-
Qualified Electronic Signature (QES)
To proceed, clients must supply electronic copies of their identification. These are verified through online AML software.
Benefits of E-Notarisation
The main advantages of E-Notarisation include:
-
Speed – delivery is almost instantaneous.
-
Efficiency – no waiting for couriers or postal delays.
-
Security – encrypted digital signatures add strong protection.
-
Eco-friendly – reduces the need for paper and shipping.
This makes E-Notarisation an ideal choice for urgent or international matters.
Global Adoption of E-Notarisation
Countries such as the USA and New Zealand already use their own E-Notarisation systems. Some Hague Convention countries also accept E-Apostilles. At present, many authorities still prefer paper documents, but the trend is changing. As international business moves further online, the use of E-Notarisation will continue to grow.
Important Considerations
Not all foreign authorities currently accept E-Notarised documents. Before proceeding, you should confirm that the receiving party will accept an electronic form. The document must always be in a form that is valid for the overseas recipient.
